Simulator guide

Use your iPhone as a golf simulator input.

True Carry captures a shot on iPhone, estimates its launch data, and sends the result to a browser session. A separate Bluetooth bridge connects the phone to GSPro or OpenGolfSim.

How the True Carry simulator works

  1. Set up the iPhone for camera capture and wait for Ready.
  2. Open True Carry Play on a larger browser screen.
  3. Choose Pair your iPhone and enter the displayed session code in Sim → Live Sim.
  4. Hit a shot. The app sends the estimated shot data to the active browser round.

Common questions

Can an iPhone act as a golf simulator launch monitor?

True Carry uses compatible iPhone camera video to estimate shot data, then sends those estimates to its browser simulator. It is not a certified measurement instrument.

How do I pair the phone to the browser simulator?

Open True Carry Play in a browser, choose Pair your iPhone, then enter the displayed session code in the app under Sim and Live Sim.

Can True Carry connect to GSPro or OpenGolfSim?

Yes. The True Carry Bridge runs on a Mac or Windows computer and relays shots over Bluetooth to supported simulator software.

Set up the desktop bridge

Follow the Mac and Windows bridge instructions, then use the live connection check to confirm that the bridge, simulator, and phone can see one another.
