Minimum requirements
- An iPhone running iOS 16 or later.
- Camera permission for shot capture.
- A stable tripod that can place the phone at the guided height.
- Enough light and ball-to-background contrast for frame tracking.
What “up to 240 fps” means
True Carry attempts to select a 240-frames-per-second camera format when the hardware supports it. Some iPhones or camera configurations provide a lower maximum, so the app falls back to the best available format. Lower frame rates can reduce the number of observations available during the fastest part of the shot.
Compatibility questions
Does True Carry work on Android?
No. The current True Carry app is built for iPhone and requires iOS 16 or later.
Does every iPhone record at 240 fps?
No. High-frame-rate formats depend on the iPhone model, camera, resolution, and current device capabilities. True Carry requests 240 fps when supported and falls back to the best available format.
Do I need radar or a separate sensor?
No separate radar is required. A stable tripod and a compatible iPhone are the core setup.

Install the app and confirm that capture opens correctly on your phone before purchasing a tripod or other accessory. If capture fails, email True Carry support with your iPhone model, iOS version, and app version.
